State Police will conduct two DUI checkpoints in Delaware County during the coming weeks.
The DUI Sobriety Checkpoints are scheduled for the evenings of Saturday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Sept. 4.
The specific locations typically aren't revealed in advance.
At checkpoints, troopers stop drivers to briefly look for signs of drunk driving or drug impairment.
The goal is to reduce the number of serious or deadly crashes involving alcohol or drugs on Pennsylvania's highways, according to State Police.
