PennDOT road projects for the week of Aug. 23, 2026 (delcotimes.com) — Media drivers should watch for Aqua PA crews replacing water mains on North Lemon Street and North Orange Street, with work and restoration stretching into fall. The weekly PennDOT update also lists multiple nearby closures and detours, including Route 252 and other township projects, that could affect your commute around Delaware County.

How One Delco Staffer Uncovered 15 Unclaimed Veterans and Gave Them a Proper Burial (vista.today) — Fifteen unclaimed military veterans whose remains were stored at the Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office in Media have finally been identified and laid to rest with full honors. Her family in Media helped turn her centennial into a yearlong celebration of her lifelong love of art, highlighting how creative expression continues even while living with dementia.
