Crews quickly contained the living-room fire, though photos show significant interior damage and a broken window, and investigators are still working to determine the cause.
   

• Former Sharon Hill detective pleads to obstruction for assisting drug dealer (delcotimes.com) — A former Sharon Hill detective has pleaded guilty to obstruction and related charges in a county corruption case that involved coordination with a drug dealer and touched multiple local departments, including Media police. Investigators say a Media detective was tipped about possible cocaine in a car during a 2025 stop, helping uncover a wider pattern of improper database searches and alleged cocaine-for-information exchanges.
