MEDIA, PA —Nordstrom Rack is coming soon to Media, with the off-price department store planning to open Oct. 29 in the Promenade at Granite Run shopping center.
While Nordstrom is a luxury brand, Nordstrom Rack offers fashion and apparel at up to 70 percent off.
Much like competitors Marshalls and TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack finds discounted fashion through manufacturer overstocks, excess supply from major brands, and items taken off the department store shelves toward the end of each season. Nordstrom Rack also sells items from Nordstrom's traditional stores.
Nordstorm Rack stores outnumber regular Nordstrom locations by about 3-to-1, according to a company filing from 2023.
The store in Media will be the only Nordstrom of any kind in Delco. The closest locations are currently in King Of Prussia, Exton and Philadelphia's Center City.
Nordstrom Rack in Media will be located at 1103 W Baltimore Pike, Suite E.
