CONCORD TOWNSHIP, PA — State Police are investigating a possible child luring incident that unfolded Thursday in Delaware County.
The incident happened around 4:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Andrien Road in Concord Township. A 10-year-old boy was riding a scooter through the neighborhood when a man in an older-model tan sedan approached him in a driveway, police said.
The man told the child to come closer to his car and asked about the scooter. When a resident interceded and confronted him, he drove away, police said.
Shortly after, a black sedan briefly stopped across the street from the same home and fled the area.
Surveillance showed that both vehicles may have followed the child when he was riding his scooter earlier, police said.
Police described the tan sedan driver as a white man who is possibly in his 50s. A description of the other driver wasn't immediately available.
State Police — the law-enforcement agency for Concord Township — are investigating the incident. Anyone with information or surveillance footage of this incident can contact the State Police Media Station.
