Announcing New Directions and Faculty for P.I.T. Academics
P.I.T. has made some exciting staffing changes to further strengthen its mission and goal of student success!

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology (P.I.T.) has made some exciting staffing changes to further strengthen our mission and goal of student success. The launch of three new programs, Robotics Engineering, Cannabis Business, and Cannabis Health Therapy and the highly successful existing Pre-Nursing program has required P.I.T. to reorganize staff and faculty to accommodate the needs of its growing student population. Also, these changes help support other thriving programs such as Practical Nursing, Health Science and Physical Therapist Assistant. Please help us congratulate our exceptional staff and faculty in their new roles!
P.I.T.'s Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, Rachelle Chaykin, will now be Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. In this new role, she will be supporting Dr. Kimberly Marucci, Dean of Academic Affairs, in implementing new initiatives and developing relationships with organizations in addition to continuing to serve as Director of General Studies.
Mark Whitehead has been asked to take over as Program Manager for some of the programs that Chaykin managed, including Behavioral Health, Humanities, and Social Sciences in addition to the Business Management program he is currently managing.

Jeanne has developed an impressive track record of successfully preparing students to enter the Practical Nursing program.
The Cannabis programs will now be managed by Pharmacist, Lou Giannotti, who comes to P.I.T. with an extensive background in the retail and corporate pharmaceutical business as well as the cannabis industry. He will not only be teaching many of the courses in the curriculum, but he will also be identifying and exploring business opportunities to enhance our students’
