According to authorities, Pharr got into an argument with a postal worker who was on his route delivering mail on July 1, 2023.
The mail carrier tried to leave the area multiple times, but was repeatedly blocked from leaving by Pharr.

When the mail carrier was able to leave the area, Pharr followed him while yelling obscenities, the DA's office said.
Pharr continued to try to engage the victim and watched for him to join him in an alley adjacent to the store, authorities said.
The carrier stayed in his delivery vehicle and called the Chester Post Office for help.
Then, the DA's office said Pharr yelled to the mail carrier, saying "You gonna die" multiple times.
Before police showed up, one of Pharr's friends joined him. Authorities said that man was armed with a firearm and an extended magazine.
Pharr asked for the handgun, the DA's office said, but his friend kept the gun partially hidden inside his jacket with the extended magazine visible.
As the carrier tried to driver off, Pharr punched in the passenger side window of the delivery vehicle, causing more than $300 in damage and further terrifying the mail carrier, according to the DA's office.
The Chester City Police and United States Postal Inspectors both responded to the incident.
Bail was set at $500,000 cash, and Pharr was committed to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 1.
