Another Day in London: Everyone Loves McDonald's
The London rain hasn't slowed the archers practice down as they've secured an indoor practice facility. And with all the Olympic-sized dining options, McDonald's seems to be the universal choice.

I can’t believe how much it rains here in London. I’ve been told this has been the rainiest month for the UK.
Boy, I’m so grateful to the U.S. Olympic Committee, for finding us a facility to be able to shoot 70 meter indoor, approximately 77 yards. Yes, it is a big deal. We have the pleasure of practicing indoors when all the other countries are stuck outdoors in the cold, windy, rainy elements.
As we heard the rain hit the roof of our building, we all looked at one another and had this big grin on our faces. As if it was planned. The little things that make us happy, but for an archer it is the big things that make a difference.
The archers are shooting better and better each day and we’re starting to forget about what jet lag really means.
As I walked into the dining hall Friday night, I looked around to see all the different areas of food stations; Asian, the Americans, the Best of Britain, the Islands, etc. Then, I look to my right to see the huge McDonald's. And what do I see—countries lots of countries, all enjoying McDonald's.
And yes, I have to admit I had a sausage egg McMuffin this morning for breakfast and a McFluffy for dessert tonight.
However, the highlight of my day was after dinner—I scheduled a massage.
