Aug 12—Getting ready to go home. Packing up the bags and I ask myself how can I have all this stuff. Three bags later and only over weight with one. It is amazing that not more are over weight. I have to have all my check-in luggage downstairs in the parking garage by 2 p.m. today. We are doing remote check-in. So that means just go to the airport and board the plane. They are still saying that we need to be there five hours before our flight leave. That seems crazy to me, but 3 a.m. it is to start heading home.

As much as I’m living a dream, I’m so ready to come home. Being away for a month is hard and I miss the family so much and friends too. Tonight is Closing Ceremony's. I get to march and I'm looking forward to it. I think I will stand next to someone famous in the sports world so I can get on TV. Ok, now watch for me tonight and see if my plan works. I’ll let you know how Open Ceremony was when I get home tomorrow and have Internet again.

Saying GOODBYE to the London and the Olympic Games. I have a lifetime of memories and I ton of pictures.

One more thing before I go—I would like to thank Gary (husband) for all his support throughout my journey to get here. My kids, Kristin and Kurt and my Mom (Grace) for their understanding and for helping when I’m not home. Thanks for allowing a Dream Come True. Love you all and can’t wait to see you.

Goodbye,

Cindy Bevilacqua
