Teach Your Children How to Manage Their Money

A program for parents and children to learn about money mangement.

As part of the MoneySmart@your library program, the Delaware County Library System is offering FREE, family oriented money management classes through an innovative new program developed just for Pennsylvania citizens. The program is hosted by the in Broomall.

"Right on the Money" is a program that uses fun, age-appropriate children’s books to introduce kids to key financial concepts, such as spending, saving, earning and provides parents with tools to reinforce their own financial knowledge. After completing "Right on the Money" parents will be able to help their children build sound money management skills.

Each week, every family will receive a children’s book to related to that week’s topic. Parents will receive materials to help them stay organized and in control of their own finances.

Since these programs are held at 6 p.m., a light dinner will be served so no cooking on Tuesdays! Families are expected to attend all four sessions.

"Right on the Money" will be held May 15, May, 22, May 29 and June 5 at 6 p.m. at the Marple Public Library which is located 2599 Sproul Road in Broomall, 19008.
