Starting my Buys for Good 'Social Entrepreneurism' Blog
Highlight best practices in our community to deal with a host of social issues, not with more tax dollars or endless fundraisers, all aimed at "social entrepreneurism."
First and foremost, I thank Patch for the opportunity to go "local" on news, events and resources that can benefit us all.
My blog will directly or indirectly focus on "social entrepreneurism" addressing the social challenges we face in the community and the best practices to solve those challenges...not necessarily with tax dollars, but with creative thinking and at times business solutions.

There are great non-profits of all sizes and shapes that "get it" and very committed businesses and institutions that are there to "give back"...I believe there are many players that make "social entrepreneurism" work. I will seek to explore those in future blogs and give credit where credit is due.
I invite your feedback on "social entrepreneurs" on both sides of the aisle...the non-profit doers and the for-profit supporters that make a winning combination for dealing with our social conditions and finding solutions that work.
