Volunteer Open House at Ridley Creek State Park-May 9
Volunteers meet at Ridley Creek State Park.

The Friends of Ridley Creek State Park are hosting a Volunteer Open House on Wednesday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom at the Park Office, otherwise known as Hunting Hill Mansion.
If you have time, talent or just interest in the well-being of, come mix and mingle with existing volunteers and Board members on May 9. In a 2,600-acre park and large mansion, there is always a need for something. Park volunteers do anything from clearing trails and removing invasive plants to planting flowers and organizing educational and fund raising events to benefit the park. Over the years we've had people of all ages contributing to the park from school children to retirees, and volunteering can be a great family activity.
If you are a park user and have often thought of how you could "give back," we'd love to meet you! There are many rewarding opportunites to serve the park and its users. Take a look at our recent newsletter to see what we've been up to.
