This year’s event will also celebrate 31 years of Laughter Yoga, honoring laughter as a universal language for health, happiness, and world peace.

Every year, thousands around the globe gather to celebrate World Laughter Day, created in 1998 by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the internationally acclaimed Laughter Yoga movement. Practiced in more than 120 countries, Laughter Yoga combines playful laughter exercises with deep yogic breathing — resulting in increased joy, connection, and stress relief.
Laughter Yoga is non political and non religious.&nbsp;
This year’s celebration will highlight laughter’s power to bring people together as a force for global unity and peace, reminding us that joy is contagious - and free!
