Catch that wave and come see the <a href="https://www.thejerseybeachboys.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jersey Beach Boys</a> live at the <a href="https://www.delcopa.gov/parks/summer-festival" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Rose Tree Summer Festival</a> on Sunday, June 21 at 7:30 PM.
Bring blankets and chairs for seating. Admission is free, and picnics are welcome. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited. Handicapped parking is available. 
The concert is weather permitting. The Merchants of Swarthmore Summer Night Market is taking place Friday, July 17th from 5-9pm.&nbsp;Experience an exciting evening hosted by the Merchants of Swarthmore featuring late night shopping, food, and local pop-ups.
The summer market always has a fun, block party vibe. This year will include a DJ, mini golf, face painting, and outdoor games plus 20 local vendors, plenty of food trucks, water ice, lemonade, and more! You can also shop and dine local at many of the amazing Swarthmore businesses.
The Night Market, which was launched in 2023 by the Merchants of Swarthmore, has been a great late night shopping, community gathering, get out and have fun event that is held outdoors on Park Avenue in Swarthmore Town Center. The Merchants of Swarthmore are a group of town businesses collaborating to host more events to increase opportunities for more foot traffic and commerce in our business district.

The annual Purcellville Wine and Food Festival returns on Saturday, July 18, in Dillon’s Woods at the historic Fireman’s Field Complex (250 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville). The festival will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., inviting guests to gather with family and friends for an afternoon and evening of local wine, beer, food, live music, art, and more.
This year’s event will showcase 40 vendors, including wineries, breweries, food and snack vendors, and local exhibitors. Enjoy live music performances by the Rick Reaves Band, The Darby Brothers, and the Franklin Park Big Band. The “Arts in the Garden” section, hosted by the Purcellville Arts Council, will highlight local artists who will create works of art live on-site. Additional activities include face painting and a photo stand-in booth. 
Early bird ticket pricing is available through 5 p.m. on July 17: 
• Early bird admission (ages 17 and over): $5 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink tickets (6 oz wine or 12 oz beer): $8.50 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink ticket package: 4 tickets for $32 (+ tax) 
• Early bird bottle of wine purchase: $35 (+ tax), available from participating wineries (bottles must be consumed on-site)
A souvenir glass will be provided with the purchase of the first drink ticket. Save time and money by purchasing your tickets in advance. 
The popular VIP experience returns for $275 (+ tax) and includes admission for six, a reserved table for six, three bottles of local wine, six souvenir glasses, six drink tickets, early entry to the festival, special commemorative gifts, and a selection of sweets and savories for the table.

The Fall 2026 book sale in support of the Media Upper-Providence Free Library is October 24-26.

<ul><li>Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM</li><li>Monday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM</li></ul>

Discover more than 30,000 books and thousands of additional items available across all three floors of the library. Our selection is continually refreshed after every sale. Signage throughout the library will guide you to the correct floor, and our friendly volunteers are always available to help.
Sale items include hardback, paperback and coffee table books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, puzzles, games, sheet music, and vintage &amp; ephemera items.
This is a well-organized sale with all items sorted into categories. The books are stored on shelves (not in boxes) in our 4,000 square-foot shopping area and are categorized into fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi/horror, teen literature, and children’s. Fiction is alphabetized by author. Non-fiction is categorized by subject. 
Sale prices are:
<ul><li>Saturday: Most items are priced at $3 (or as marked)</li><li>Sunday: “½ Price Day” - Most items are priced at $1.50</li><li>Monday: “Bag Sale” day - $5 for a grocery store-sized bag</li></ul>


Cash, check, and some electronic payments (credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo) accepted. Minimum of $10 purchase for electronic payments.
All proceeds from the sale go to the Media-Upper Providence Free Library. In addition to raising money for the library, the book sale also supports teachers in Title 1 schools in Delaware County and charitable organizations in our greater community.

I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people.
