Car Flips, Traps Occupants, Police Say

Crews free two people after a single-car crash on Baltimore Pike.

Two people sustained only minor injuries after their vehicle flipped onto its roof in a one-car crash, according to Media Police Chief Marty Wusinich.

On April 1, at about 4:15 p.m., a 2008 Honda, driven by an 84-year-old Wallingford woman, was traveling eastbound on Baltimore Avenue near Veterans Square, Wusinich said.

The driver over-corrected her steering and clipped the rear bumper of a vehicle parked on Baltimore Avenue, Wusinich said.
