Crash Heavily Damages Car, Downs Pole, Closes Roadway In Delco
Officials advised the public to avoid the area on Palmers Mill Road.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A portion of Palmers Mill Road is closed after a crash that snapped a utility pole, officials said Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened by Lakeview Drive. Rose Tree Fire Company in Media shared a photo from the scene, where a heavily damaged vehicle snapped the pole, which fell onto wires.
There was no immediate word of any injuries.

Palmers Mill Road is closed at Lakeview Drive, officials said around 12:30 p.m.
"Please avoid the area and use alternate routes while emergency crews operate on scene," Rose Tree Fire Company said.
