Crossing Guard Assaulted Near Delco Elementary School: Police
Authorities are working to identify the suspect and asking witnesses to contact them.
DARBY, PA — An unknown suspect assaulted a crossing guard outside a Delaware County elementary school Monday afternoon, authorities said.
It happened around 3:50 p.m. at S. 6th and Walnut streets in Darby, where the crossing guard works daily, police said. The intersection is near Walnut Street Elementary School.
A suspect description wasn't immediately available.

Darby Borough Police are investigating the incident and asking witnesses to contact them.
"We are exhausting all available resources to identify the individual responsible, but we need your help to get this person identified," the police department said.
