Democrats Sweep Delaware County Council Race In Historic Election
Delaware County's council is now entirely Democrat controlled after the GOP held a tight grip on the council for years and years.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The polls are closed and votes are being tallied now in Delaware County as Democrats aim to take control of the Delaware County Council for the first time ever.
Voters cast ballots for in the county council race to determine which party will control the board. Should just one Democrat win, it will be the first time the GOP has lost control of the board in its history.
