Delco Holding 9/11 Day Of Remembrance Ceremony Wednesday Morning
The event will be held in the back of Rose Tree Park, at the memorial site for fallen law enforcement, fire, EMS, and 911 personnel.
MEDIA, PA — Delaware County Wednesday will pay tribute to those who died on Sept. 11, 2001 and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the terrorist attack's emergency response.
The county's annual September 11th Day of Remembrance Ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rose Tree Park.
The ceremony will be held in the rear section of the park, at the memorial site dedicated to law enforcement, fire, EMS, and 911 personnel who have sacrificed their lives in service.

Delaware County Council and the District Attorney’s Office will host the ceremony.
The ceremony will reflect on and remember the heroes who perished as a result of the devastating attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Delaware County’s first responders who have died in the line of duty will also be honored during Wednesday's event, as well as those who continue to protect and serve the community every day.
The public is invited to join the ceremony, as it is an opportunity for the community to come together to honor the memory of those lost, and to show our appreciation for the ongoing dedication of first responders.
Rose Tree Park is located at 1671 N. Providence Road in Media.
