Delco Man Loses $700K In Bitcoin Scam: State Police
Pennsylvania State Police said a Glen Mills man is out $700,000 after being caught in a cryptocurrency scam.
GLEN MILLS, PA — A Delaware County senior citizen was scammed out of a massive sum of money via a cryptocurrency scam, authorities said.
Pennsylvania State Police on Monday spoke to a 67-year-old Glen Mills man.
Police said the man transferred $700,000 from his bank account to cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase, then to HTX Web 3, another crypto platform.
