Delco Police Union Endorses Stollsteimer In District Attorney Race
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer has been endorsed by the Delaware County Lodge No 27 FOP in his reelection bid.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County's sitting District Attorney has earned the backing of the county's police union.
Jack Stollsteimer, who has been Delco's DA since January 2020 after defeating then DA Katayoun Copeland, was recently endorsed by the Delaware County Lodge No 27 FOP.
"Jack Stollsteimer has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with crime victims and law enforcement to keep our great Delaware County safe," Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 27 President Chris Eiserman said. "Since taking office, Jack has worked tirelessly with law enforcement all across the county to engage the public in crime-fighting initiatives. We’ve seen first-hand how Jack Stollsteimer conducts the duties of his office with integrity and fairness."

The union endorsed Copeland in the 2019 general election.
"I’m honored and humbled to receive this important endorsement from FOP Lodge 27 leadership and its rank-and-file police officers," Stollsteimer said

Stollsteimer is facing Republican challenger Beth Stefanide-Miscichowski in the Nov. 7 general election.
Stefanide-Miscichowski, a former Delaware County Assistant District Attorney, and the Delaware County GOP recently alleged Stollsteimer verbally accosted her at a Delaware County Bar Association Event, accusing him of "screaming 'you just wait' while forcing his fingers in her face."
