Delco's Coronavirus Website Launches Through Chesco Partnership

The website has maps, numbers, and much more information residents have been looking for since the new coronavirus hit the region.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Thanks to a partnership with Chester County, Delaware County has its own website dedicated to information about the local outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.

Delaware County's website launched Saturday after the county teamed up with the Chester County Health Department. The counties entered into an agreement last week that would allow Chester County to take on Delaware County's public health response to the virus.

The website features information Delaware County residents had been asking for since the outbreak.

Information includes the number of cases overall, case counts by municipality, case demographics and more.

It even features a map that shows cases by municipality.

Data on the site is provided by the Chester County Health Department in coordination with the Chester County Department of Emergency Services.

The site was last updated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, which shows 34 cases in the county.

According to the site there have been 276 negative tests in the county, as well.

Delaware County has not seen any deaths related to the illness. The only two deaths in Pennsylvania as of Sunday morning were in Allegheny and Northampton counties.

As of Sunday morning Pennsylvania has 371 cases in 28 counties.
