Delco's New Super Wawa Robbed Sunday: Report
Just days after it opened, a robber struck the newest Wawa in the area, taking more than $900 in cigarettes.

MEDIA, PA – The newest Wawa in Delaware County was hit by a robber just days after opening on Friday, July 28. The suspect made off with hundreds of dollars worth of cigarettes in the incident.
According to the Delaware County Daily Times, a man came to the store at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue, Providence Road, and State Street in Media at about 5 a.m. Sunday, July 30.
Media Borough Police told the outlet the man asked for cigarettes, said he didn't have his wallet, then walked behind the counter, said he was stealing, and took 12 cartons of cigarettes valued at about $950.

The suspect was driving a blue minivan and was described as a black male, about 5-feet 6-inches tall, wearing a black T-shirt, gray pants and a green reflector safety vest.
