Downed Tree, Wires Closes Roadway In Media

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — Part of Orange Street is closed Thursday morning due to a downed tree and wires in the roadway, officials said.

Orange Street is closed between Kirk Lane and Centennial Avenue — by the Media-Upper Providence Township border.

The Rose Tree Fire Company announced the closure at 8:30 a.m.

"Please seek an alternate route and avoid the area while crews work to make the scene safe," the fire company said.
