Drunken Teen Attempts to Break Police Car Window

According to the , a 16-year-old male juvenile was at a party with several other juveniles on Fairview Avenue at about 10:16 p.m. on June 12 and the party spilled over into the street and neighbors called police.

When police arrived the juveniles scattered into the surrounding area and the 16-year-old man ran behind a house after being chased by an officer and the homeowner, according to State Police, the man scaled a fence and was captured after a brief struggle.

The man sustained minor injuries to his head and had to be restrained, according to State Police.

While he was in custody he attempted to kick out the rear window of a patrol car, according to State Police.

The 16-year-old was returned to the State Police-Media Barracks where he vomited and passed out, according State Police, EMS was called due to his injuries and extreme intoxication and he was transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center and his parents were notified.

Three additional juveniles were also apprehended and were highly intoxicated, according to State Police. They were released to their parents and will be charged with underage drinking.
