Staff, families, community members, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and industry professionals are invited to celebrate 40 years of Elwyn being leaders in education, treatment, and support services for children and adults with autism, intellectual and developmental differences, and related behavioral health challenges.
"We are thrilled to be hosting our 40th Annual Elwyn Ball this April," said Elwyn President and CEO Charles McLister. "At Elwyn, it is important for us to help make a difference in the lives of the 20,000 individuals we serve across the country, and the Elwyn Ball is an integral part of our yearly fundraising efforts. Here’s to 40 more years of making a difference!"
The event celebrates the organization, the people they support, and their families while recognizing the hardwork and dedication of the staff, donors, and all of the people who make Elwyn what it is today.
The Elwyn Ball is a black-tie event and will include remarks by Mr. McLister, cocktails, dinner, dancing, and dessert.
Ed and Ellen Goss, parents of an Elwyn resident, shared the following thoughts about the Ball:
For the past 35 years, Elwyn has kept our son safe and happy with the freedom to develop as best he can. It is our safe haven. As we attend this year’s Ball, we are excited about Elwyn’s future and new directions helping countless more families. Elwyn is more than a network of programs. It is a network of incredibly dedicated people who believe that every child has value and must be given the chance to achieve the utmost possible. Just as Elwyn is our lifeline, those who support the Ball are Elwyn’s lifeline. Together, we all will continue to elevate Elwyn’s mission to make it the most relevant and effective human services provider in the nation.
The National Constitution Center is located at 525 Arch St. in Philadelphia.
