The Delaware County Symphony will present the third of its Chamber Concert Series for the 2010-2011 season on Sunday, March 27 at 3 p.m. in the Meagher Theatre of the Thomas A. Bruder, Jr. Life Center at Neumann University in Aston.
Tickets at the door are $10, $8 for seniors/students, and free for children 12 and under with paying adult admission. There is ample free parking and the center is handicapped accessible.
This chamber program is entitled, A Breath of Fresh Air and will feature Charles Thomas, cello; Catherine Duerr, flute; Kristin Bray, oboe; Donna Higgins, clarinet; Rachel Sierk, horn; Arnold Ostroff, piano and Vincent Iannone, clarinet. Included in this program will be Trio in A Minor, Op.114 for Clarinet,Cello and Piano by Johannes Brahms; Premiere Rhapsodie for Clarinet and Piano by Claude Debussy and Trois Pieces Breves for Woodwind Quintet by Jacques Ibert. Chamber program commentary will be provided by Charles Thomas, director of the Delaware County Symphony chamber series.
