First Lady of Philadelphia, Deborah Franklin

This play is about the life Deborah Franklin, wife of Ben Franklin, and how things were in colonial America prior to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Scenes include a reenactment of her first meeting with Ben, defending her home against riots during the Stamp Act rebellion, how she and Ben developed their many businesses, her response to his electrical experiments and how she managed their general store.

There will be a question and answer session with the audience after the performance.

Directed by David O'Connor.
