The Media Youth Center (MYC) is hosting a FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) OPEN HOUSE to introduce our MYC FLL Robotics Program and to provide hands on experience to the world of FLL.
The Robotics Program is team oriented and introduces Science and Technology concepts to kids:
7 - 9 years old (JrFLL)

10 - 14 years old (FLL)
All teams collaborate on everything from creating the team
shirt, logo, FLL Final Challenge and work as peers to solve problems put forward during the year. They will also take two field trips. All members are expected to attend all meetings and participate in each component of the program. Teams meet once a week starting in September.

The MYC FLL Open House will have a Lego building zone with over 150lbs of Lego Pieces to allow youth to free build anything they would like, a robot demonstration and former MYC FLL team members will help explain what is involved at each level of the program. The FLL Coordinator and past mentors will be onhand to answer questions too.
