The Community Arts Center, 414 Plush Mill Road in Wallingford, continues its Free Summer Concert Series sponsored by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union on July 22nd with Flying Home. Specializing in the Great American Songbook, the group covers material from George Gershwin, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt and others of the swing era.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy music under the stars at this family event. Come early for dinner and purchase burgers, hot dogs and Rosati’s water ice or bring your own picnic and beverage of choice.
