I teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons in person close to Springfield and Swarthmore. I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and have experience teaching all ages of students. I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people. My teaching space is located at 34 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA. Contact me for more information or to set up a free trial lesson! I will be starting a new group guitar class on April 20th! This class will run for 6 sessions over the course of 7 weeks on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The focus of this class will be on teaching song melodies to beginners, such as Ode To Joy by Beethoven and Happy Birthday. Each week I will introduce slightly more complicated melodies that will help develop students' ability to play single note melodies on the guitar.

Solarize Delco Launches Community Solar Grant for Delaware County Nonprofits&nbsp;Grants of up to $20,000 available to help mission-driven organizations reduce&nbsp;energy costs and go solar
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA &mdash; Solarize Delco, a nonprofit solar education and advocacy organization serving Delaware County, Pennsylvania, has launched a community grant program to help local nonprofit organizations go solar. Grants cover up to 50% of the cost of a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation, up to a maximum of $20,000 per organization, and are available now while funds last. &ldquo;Solarize Delco exists to make solar accessible to everyone in Delaware County. Nonprofits are often doing the most essential work in our communities &mdash; feeding families, supporting children, serving our neighbors in need &mdash; while operating on the tightest budgets. Every dollar we can free up from their energy bill is a dollar that goes back into their programs. That&rsquo;s why this grant exists.&rdquo; &mdash; Solarize Delco Solar energy offers nonprofits a rare combination: a meaningful reduction in operating costs, a hedge against rising utility rates, and a visible demonstration of commitment to the community and environment. For many organizations, however, the upfront cost of installation has been a barrier. This grant is designed to change that. The grant program is part of Solarize Delco&rsquo;s broader mission to advance clean energy adoption across the county. As a no-pressure, no-sales advocacy organization, Solarize Delco provides education and guidance to help organizations navigate the solar process with confidence &mdash; from understanding their options to reviewing installer proposals &mdash; with no financial stake in the outcome.
Grant Details and Eligibility The Solarize Delco Community Solar Grant is open to qualifying organizations that meet all of&nbsp;the following criteria: &bull; Nonprofit status: Qualified 501(c)(3) organization in good standing &bull; Location: Operating in Delaware County, Pennsylvania &bull; Mission: Provides direct social services to the local community &mdash; such as food access,&nbsp;shelter, health services, education, or similar programs that directly benefit Delaware&nbsp;County residents &bull; Property ownership: Owns the property on which the solar installation will be located &bull; Site suitability: Property has an adequate location for a solar array, whether rooftop or&nbsp;ground-mounted &bull; Grant Amount: Up to 50% of total solar installation cost, maximum $20,000 per organization. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis while funds remain available. Organizations are encouraged to apply early.
