Gregory Raposo in Concert: Media Theatre's One Song Rock Festival

Former teen idol Gregory Raposo, who was a member of the platinum selling pop vocal group Dream Street, brings music from his new CD "LossLoveLife" to the theatre's One Song Rock Festival.

Raposo has performed as a solo artist on some of New York's greatest stages including The Nassau Coliseum, Jones Beach Amphitheatre, and Irving Plaza. On youtube, he has a combined viewership of over 150,000 views for his videos including his latest release "That Day". (available here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPbuWzc-hgE)

The song "That Day" was written for a fan with cancer. In making the video Greg enlisted the help of fans and friends to support his message. The music video celebrates life through a series of photos held by a diverse cross-section of people.

He wrote and produced every song on "LossLoveLife". He believes in the power of music, and the mission of The Media Theatre (an award-winning music theatre company). "Music is great therapy," he said. "It establishes a sense of self. That's what the One Song Rock Festival at The Media Theatre can achieve this summer, for all the participants and the audience. You CAN change the world with just one song."
