Havana '59 Exhibit at Community Arts Center

Community Arts Center, 414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, PA, presents Havana ’59, an exhibit of paintings of Cuba by George H. Rothacker, July 13th through August 18, 2012.  The public is invited to the opening reception from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Friday, July 13th.

Havana ’59, a reprisal of George H. Rothacker’s tribute to the romance of Havana, includes more than 35 acrylic paintings created between 2009 and 2011 portraying classic architecture, ‘50s cars and beautiful Cuban people.  The exhibition also features selections from Mr. Rothacker’s former shows, Connections:  From the Inner City to the Outer Main Line, Memories of the Open Road: Lost and Found, and American Movie Houses including paintings of old cars and trucks, scenes of West Philadelphia, and the Media, Colonial and County Theatres.
