This lecture highlights the little known role that the Marquis de Lafayette played in America’s war for independence, including his participation in the Battle of Brandywine on September 11, 1777. This lecture by Gene Pisasale, local historical mystery writer, was inspired by a visit to the Brandywine Battlefield.
