On Saturday, April 28, 2012, youth, high school, and Penncrest Alumni lacrosse players will gather at Penncrest High School with friends, family, members of the Rose Tree-Media Optimist Club, and teachers from the Rose Tree Media School District for a day and evening of lacrosse games, food, and fun. This annual event is a fundraiser for the NK Smiles Scholarship Fund, established in honor and memory of the late Norm Kelly, Jr., a beloved elementary school teacher, lacrosse coach, and friend. This fund provides scholarships to Penncrest students aspiring to careers in education who personify Norm Kelly's warmth, generosity, and kindness.
