ASTON, PA — A former Delaware County swim school manager was arrested Tuesday after authorities say he sexually abused an underage lifeguard at his Delaware home and traveled with him to Mexico.

Todd Hill, 46, was a manager at Kids First Swim School in Aston, where the 16-year-old victim worked as a lifeguard, authorities said.

Hill has been released from his position at Kids First, according to the company, which has 21 locations along the East Coast.

The victim stayed overnight several times at Hill's home in Wilmington, Delaware, where Hill sexually abused him, authorities said.

Investigators reviewed "concerning" text message exchanges between Hill and the victim, according to New Castle County (Delaware) Police. They also both traveled to Mexico in January, police said.

Hill was arrested Tuesday at his home. He was charged with six counts of second-degree unlawful sexual contact and one count of enticement for purposes of sexual conduct — all felonies.

He was arraigned and jailed in Wilmington after failing to post $21,000 unsecured bail.

An attorney contact for Hill wasn't immediately available in online court records.

Kids First Swim Schools issued the following statement:

"(On Tuesday), we were made aware that our employee, Todd Hill, was charged with sexual misconduct.
