Fentanyl, Crack Seized In Delco Drug Bust: District Attorney
One of the two men charged in the bust was caught while trying to escape out of a residential bedroom window, according to authorities.

UPPER CHICHESTER, PA — Authorities in Delaware County have charged two men with drug-related crimes after a bust last week led to the seizure of fentanyl, crack, and drug paraphernalia.
District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Tajifa Massey, 38, and Anthony Thomas, 59, both of Boothwyn, are charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy to commit all these crimes.
The charges were filed after a search warrant was executed Friday, July 15 at a location on the 3300 block of Chichester Avenue in Upper Chichester.

Members of the Upper Chichester Township Police Department, the City of Chester Police Department, and other members of the Delaware County Drug Task force encountered Massey and Thomas when they entered the location pursuant to a search warrant for the premises.
Massey was detained in the living room of the location, and Thomas was apprehended while trying to escape through a bedroom window, authorities said.

Drug Task Force members found over five ounces of crack cocaine and more than three ounces of fentanyl, in addition to cash, scales, baggies, a powdered substance used to cut the drugs, and other paraphernalia related to the illegal drug trade, according to authorities.
They additionally found mail belonging to both Massey and Thomas at the location, authorities said.
"I want to commend the members of the Delco Drug Task Force who investigated this case and apprehended these two men," Stollsteimer said. "The illegal drug trade, and fentanyl in particular, is a poison flowing through the streets of our communities, and the people of Delaware County are now safer through the methodical work of the officers involved in this case."
Thomas and Massey being held at the Delaware County Prison on $500,000 cash bail, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 27.
