Get Out: 2nd Saturday, Reel Jesus, Erin Go Bragh
There are plenty of things going on in the greater Media Patch area this weekend.

It’s Thursday, so it’s time to think about the weekend plans, and it’s sure to be a busy one, with the forecast looking pretty decent. There’s an Arts Stroll along State Street, Irish eyes will surely be smiling at Delaware County’s annual St. Patrick’s parade, or check out a spring craft festival. Oh, and don’t forget to spring forward, turning your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night.
1. Media Arts Council 2nd Saturday

Where/When: Downtown Media; Sat., March 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Why Go: Grab a bite to eat at one of Media’s many restaurants, while enjoying the art, live music and evening shopping along State Street. Check out M.A.C.’s Web site for a map and full rundown of events. It’s the fifth anniversary of M.A.C. coordinating 2nd Saturday. The main event is the children’s music concert with Allison DeSalvo’s "World of Song." A Fair Trade scavenger hunt kicks off, Drew Draws at , and Seven Stone Café will feature Mama Owl Photography.

2. The Reel Jesus Film Festival
Where/When: ; All weekend (check Web site for times)
Why Go: This first annual film festival will feature a series of films which depict some of the portrayals of Jesus Christ in cinema, and will be followed by discussion. Films include The Color of the Cross, Last Temptation of Christ, Gospel According to St. Matthew,and The Passion of the Christ.
Pricing: Tickets for each film are $10 per person, or a package for all four showings is available at $30
3. 33rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Where/When: Springfield Township; Sat., March 12 at Noon
Why Go: Delaware County celebrates Irish heritage at the St. Patrick’s Parade. Enjoy high school marching bands, string bands, a pipe and drum group, Veteran’s organizations, Irish step dance groups, fire companies, community groups and more. The parade will start at West Springfield Road and Britton Road, and end at Saxer Avenue and Powell Road.

4. Spring Indoor Craft and Art Show
Where/When: ; Sun., March 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Get your spring and Easter decorations here. The show will feature nearly 100 crafters and artists showcasing original work, including fine art, woodwork, jewelry, pottery, silk and dried flower arrangements and wreaths.
Pricing: $2 for adults; children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free
5. Save a Life Tour
Where/When: Granite Run Mall; Fri., March 11 from 3 to 9 p.m.
Why Go: Teach your children the dangers of driving drunk. The high impact alcohol awareness program will feature highly graphic, real-life footage from actual events that show how devastating driving under the influence can be. There will also be a simulator that allows "drivers" to feel the controls of a real car, and view the field of vision while under the influence.
