Why Go: Wear your green and celebrate the Irish. Pre-parade entertainment will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saxer Avenue. The parade begins at W. Springfield and Britton Roads and ends at Saxer Ave. and Powell Road.

Why Go: Keep your family traditions alive or start a new one and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Santa Claus won't get jealous.

4. Italian Chicks Comedy Night—St. Paddy's Day Italian Style

When/Where:  Saturday, March 17, at 7 p.m., at , 5180 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square

Why Go: Four New York women will make you laugh and make you cry, making it a true Italian feast. Doors open at 7 p.m., dinner at 7:30 and show starts at 8:30 p.m.

5. All-Irish Concert

Where/When: Friday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 212 W Springfield Rd in Springfield

Why Go: Soprano Jacqueline Dunleavy, with Samantha Wittchen on harp and Dawn Stevens on piano will present an all-Irish concert, which will include traditional Irish ballads, rousing Irish folk songs, and songs that explore the heritage of Irish writers and poets.
