Where/When: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Expect a day jam-packed with plenty to do including hayrides through the beautiful fields and orchards, games and contests, music, ice cream sundaes, and the Linvilla Grill. For the kids, there are appearances by costumed characters, real pony rides, and face painting. Plus, be sure to leave time to pick your own delicious fresh strawberries from their acres of fields. Finally, don't miss a slice of the Delaware Valley's largest stawberry shortcake.

Why Go: Bring the family to browse downtown's Media Art Exhibition and Craft Fair. More than 150 artists and fine craftsmen participated in the fair last year showing fine art and photography, pottery, jewelry, woodcrafts, toys, wearable and decorative fiber art, Colonial crafts and more.

Where/When: at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 6 through the 17.
Why Go: Head to the Media Theatre for 10 nights in June and enjoy a different classic film each night. Screenings include "Night of the Living Dead," "Swan Lake," "Brokeback Mountain" and "Streetcar Named Desire." See the full listing of shows on the Media Theatre website. Each classic film will be preceded by an independent short film.

ITALIAN AMERICAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Where/When: Rose Tree Park from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Why Go: Celebrate Italian heritage and the contributions Italian Americans have made in Delaware County. Sample Italian food, culture, authors, novelties and entertainment. The festival features a tribute to Al Alberts TV Showcase Memories and Memorabilia as well as a little Mr. and Miss Italian Festival contest. Other contests will decide the best hoagie, cannoli, pizzelle and biscotti. Also, don't miss the bocce demonstration and competition for both teens and adults.

CINDERELLA: YESTERDAY AND TODAY
Where/When: at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Find out if Cinderella really did live happily ever after. Audiences are encouraged to dress as their favorite characters from the play, as all the princesses, princes, wizards, fairy godmothers and others in costume will be invited to dance on stage with the royal family. Plus, greet your favorite characters and enjoy juice and cookies in the lobby at the end of the show.
Pricing: $9 for children, $11 for adults
Where/When: Devon Horse Show Grounds beginning last Thursday and continuing through Sunday. Gates open daily around 8 a.m. and close around 10 p.m.
Why Go: Take part in a Main Line tradition as well as the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed competition in the United States. The Country Fair portion of the horse show includes delicious concessions, lots of vendor booths, an art gallery and a giant Midway featuring a Ferris wheel, carousel and game booths for all ages. Don't miss the Devon Hat Contest during Ladies' Day on Wednesday. On Sunday at 12:30, all flowers and plants used to decorate the show will be sold at special discount rates.
Pricing: Tickets range from $5 to $8.
