Media Food Festival Feasts Sunday
State Street will be packed with booths featuring area restaurants, handmade crafts, and bands will entertain visitors on Sunday.
UPDATE: This Sunday, Oct. 9, is expected to be perfect weather for Food Fest so remember to head out with empty stomaches.

Dozens of Media and other regional restaurants, from Italian to Mexican, and Chinese to Thai, will line State Street this Sunday for the 31st Annual Food and Craft Festival.

More than 60 local artists will be out displaying and selling their original fine art and handmade crafts. The Media Business Authority-sponsored event will also include live entertainment by Leroy Hawkes & the Hipnotics, Lonnie Shields Band, The Roger Girke Band and Jimmy Shoe & the Shine.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. State Street will be closed from Orange to Monroe Streets. Veterans Square will also be shut down, and will feature activities for the kids.

The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 9. Admission is free.
