Giant DVD and Book sale at Marple Library October 21 to October 22. Donate Now and Shop in October!!!

The Friends of the Marple Public Library in Broomall are now asking for your donations of gently used audio and visual items such as DVDs, VHS tapes, Audio CDs, gently used pocketbooks, scarves, gently used jewelry and books for our October 2016 fund raising sale. All donations may now be placed in the blue collection receptacle in the lobby of the library. Included in this sale will be gently used pocketbooks, scarves, wallets, and small leather goods. Please donate your unwanted items to the Friends so that we can have a successful sale. Not only are we collecting audio/visual items we are also asking for book donations. Please note --we cannot accept textbooks !

The special preview sale for Member of the Friends is on Thursday October 20 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you are not a member you may join the evening of the special preview sale. The regular public sale opens on Friday October 21 from 10 am to 5 pm. The sale will end on Saturday October 22 from 10 am to 3 pm . Our half price sale begins at noon on Saturday. We will offer a large inventory of DVDs, CDs, Audio CDs, VHS tapes, pocketbooks, and scarves. Our donated inventory also includes children’s, travel, drama, family, action, comedy, horror, science fiction, foreign films and special collections of TV shows, poets, history and the classics.
