Recovery is the Key to Progress in Your Training!
Most people have it backwards and use recovery only as an afterthought or when they are forced to rest because of injury or sickness. But the key to progress in any training program is recovery because that is when your body repairs itself and gets stronger, fitter, leaner, etc.
So plan to take at least one day a week for recovery. That recovery can be "active" i.e. walking, mobility work, foam rolling, etc. but it is not hard or challenging.
