Grab & Go Kids Planner: Puppet Shows, Japanese Story Time, Kids Clothing Sale and More

March brings an even broader variety of family-friendly events in the Media Patch community, including one of several upcoming kids clothing and equipment sales. Events the whole family will enjoy this week include puppet shows at Middletown Library and the Springfield Mall, a Japanese story time at the Media-Upper Providence Library and the chance to assemble a mini race car at Home Depot.

MILES IN THE HEART OF THE FOREST PUPPET SHOW

Where/When: at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Follow the adventures of Miles and Birdy in this 40-minute interactive puppet show that honors friendship and love through songs and action the whole family will enjoy.

JAPANESE STORY TIME

Where/When: at noon on Tuesday.
Why Go: Celebrate the upcoming Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Festival early with a special story time for children ages 2 to 5 that explores Japanese culture.

HOME DEPOT KIDS WORKSHOP

Where/When: from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Why Go: Enjoy the huge grin of accomplishment on your child’s face after building his or her own mini race car. The drop-in class teaches tool safety and basic do-it-yourself skills, and children go home with their own kid-sized, orange Home Depot aprons.
