'Inside Out' Art Exhibit Comes To Media

The Philadelphia Art Museum's outdoor gallery has set up shop in Delaware County.

MEDIA, PA – Media and Delaware County residents who love art will have an excuse to get out and enjoy the summer weather soon. The Philadelphia Museum of Art's Inside Out outdoor art exhibits have returned to the area and Media is home to one.

Inside Out displays have been set up in four communities in and around the city.

Media Borough features ten artworks throughout the town, including a Paul Cezanne which is displayed in front of the Delaware County Courthouse.

"Inside Out brings large-scale, high-quality replicas of favorite works from the Museum’s collection to neighborhoods in and around Philadelphia," according to the museum's website.

Sixty high-quality replicas of the Museum’s masterpieces are being showcased in four communities around the region.

The spring installations are also hitting Manayunk, East Passyunk, and Haddonfield, New Jersey.

Spring exhibits will be on display until mid August.

Art lovers can participate in a new Instagram contest this year.

"Simply Instagram a photo of Inside Out in your city and tag it #InsideOutUSA from Friday, June 9, through Monday, June 12," the museum's website reads. "Prizes will be awarded to a winner in each Inside Out city, with a national winner chosen from the local winners."
