Jazz By Night Celebration Coming To Media Nov. 18

MEDIA, PA – The Media Business Authority will celebrate jazz and a Philadelphia-area jazz legend next month, as it's hosting the 15th Anniversary Jazz By Night Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 18 at venues in downtown Media.

The celebration will be held from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. across 23 different indoor venues in Media.

Performances range from classic jazz to Jamaican jazz, gypsy jazz to hard bop, and more.

Tickets are available online here for $15 a piece through Nov. 17.

To purchase walk-up tickets the day of the event or to pickup tickets purchased via PayPal, please visit the main ticket booth – State Street & Plum Street Mall – after at noon on Nov. 18.

Tickets will be held under the name you order them with. PayPal standard email confirmation will be your only receipt.

Tickets will not be refunded.

The 2017 Jazz By Night is dedicated to memory of the late Mickey Roker, legendary Philly drummer who passed away earlier this year, according to organizers.

Mikey was the first Jazz artist we sought advice from in starting this event. He graciously agreed to headline with his quartet from Ortlieb’s Jazz Haus, featuring late pianist Sid Simmons, vocalist Joanna Pascale, saxman Victor North, and bassist Madison Rast, at our first two Jazz By Nights in 2003 and 2004.
