Maris Grove Residents Donate $158,770 to Staff Appreciation Fund

Over 580 hourly staff members received a gift

Residents at Maris Grove, an Erickson Living retirement community in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, donated $158,770 to the community's Staff Appreciation Fund. The annual campaign is organized each year as a way for the residents to say "thank you" to non-management hourly employees who provide a variety of resident services at the community.

At the festive event held on December 4, residents expressed their appreciation toward employees and helped distribute donated funds to each eligible employee. At Maris Grove, eligible employees may include the community's wait staff, dining associates, security officers, communication and administrative staff, banquet servers, maintenance workers, culinary team, housekeepers, Certified Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants, totaling 580 staff members.

"Thank you to our residents for their generosity and for recognizing our dedicated employees," said Executive Director Maureen Heckler. "It is a wonderful celebration and opportunity for residents to give a gift to the employees who mean so much to them and to thank them for their kindness and help throughout the year."
