Media CVS Standoff Ends With Arrest, No Injuries: Police
The suspect was previously convicted of a 1997 armed robbery in New Jersey where he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

MEDIA, PA – Media Borough Police have taken an armed robbery suspect into custody following a standoff situation at the CVS on East Baltimore Avenue Wednesday evening. The suspect is a 46-year-old Wilmington, Delaware man who is now facing more than 20 charges stemming from the incident that lasted nearly two hours.
Kwesi Hudson has been charged with tow counts of four separate robbery charges; two counts each of three charges related to false imprisonment; two counts of simple assault; two counts of harassment; tow counts of terroristic threats; two counts of recklessly endangering another person; and one count of theft by unlawful taking, according to court records.
Hudson's preliminary arraignment was scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday. As of 10 a.m., court records do not show a bail amount listed.

Hudson was previously charged and convicted of an armed robbery in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1997.
He was sentenced to serve 20 years for that robbery, according to NJ.com.

Police responded to the store at about 9:49 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery with a firearm, Media Borough Police said.
Upon arrival, police said Hudson left the front door then went back inside in an attempt to flee out the back of the store.
However, Hudson found another officer at the back door and then barricaded himself in a storage area of the store, police said.
Police entered the store and safely evacuated to employees while Central Delco Tactical Response Team was called in and Hudson was taken into custody without further incident shortly thereafter, police said.
According to CBS Philly, the standoff ended at about 11:30 p.m. and no one was injured.
