Media Man Charged With Assault In Chester County

The 22-year-old Media man allegedly attacked a person when a verbal argument turned physical, authorities said.

MEDIA, PA – A Media man was arrested and charged with simple assault after allegedly attacking another person in Chester County recently, according to authorities and court records.

According to West Chester Borough Police, Kalvin Simpson, 22, of Media, got into a verbal dispute with the victim that turned physical.

The incident occurred on July 22 at around 2:30 a.m. on the 100 block of South Darlington Street in West Chester, police said.

Simpson allegedly punched the victim, knocking him to the ground, and then fled the area on foot, police said.

Simpson faces a simple assault charge and is set to appear in a Chester County court for his preliminary hearing on Aug. 25, court records show.
