Media Nominated For 'Best Small Town Cultural Scene' By USA Today

MEDIA, PA — USA Today's website 10Best released the towns nominated for "Best Small Towns" of 2019. And Media is in the running for one category.

Media has been nominated in the "Best Small Town Cultural Scene" readers' choice poll.

You can vote for Media in the poll now through noon on Monday, May 6.

Here's what 10Best says about Manayunk's cultural scene:

Media, Pennsylvania calls itself “Everybody’s Hometown,” as it’s easy to make yourself comfortable and stay awhile in this historic corner of Delaware County. Cultural events shine here, including America’s Music Festival Series and summer Dining Under the Stars. The Media Theatre puts on musical productions, concerts and performances just for kids.

The 10 winning towns will be announced on Friday, May 17.

Media is one of 20 small towns, each with a population of fewer than 30,000 people as of the last census, in the poll.

"What each lacks in size it makes up for with a big cultural punch – museums, art galleries, performing arts and busy event calendars," 10Best writes.
